Lexseco's comprehensive upgrade utilizes our unique Flux Metering System which measures actual lines of flux, true RMS current, and watts (in place of kilowatts). It is certified in conformity with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to be of the highest accuracy. In conjunction with the Flux Metering System, the MP4.0TM/MP5.0TM Multiparameter Hardware/Software system enhances test accuracy through the use of frame and efficiency test discrimination, RS232 meter data retrieval, and winding verification with an IBM compatible PentiunTM notebook computer and laptop printer.

Mounted in a rugged steel enclosure with locking lid, the new upgrade package can be retrofitted by the Lexseco engineering staff to any Lexseco Core Loss Tester. lso included in the package is one year free membership in the Lexseco MPTM Software Users Group, new control components, refurbishment of existing cabinet, and a thorough checkout/ evaluation of the key tester components. • Lexseco's Automation Upgrade utilizes our most recent release of our unique Flux Metering System and Multiparameter Software. This upgrade will enhance your test accuracy with additional data validation and computer control while reducing your Core Loss Testing time. With the automation feature, the operation of the tester is much simpler since the testing process is controlled by the software & computer system. A simpler test process will result in reduce training time and costs.
• This generation of our Flux Metering System not only measures actual lines of flux, true RMS current, and watts (in place of kilowatts) but also controls the tester via instructions for our MP6.0™ Multiparameter Software. The metering is certified in conformity with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to be of the highest accuracy. The software's instructions are communicated to the Flux Metering System through an RS232 interface. We have endeavored to add this increased functionality with addition of as few components to our test system as possible. This design allows us to offer additional functionality while maintaining the tester's durability, serviceability, backward compatibility, and keeping upgrade costs down.
• We have also allowed for Maximum Flexibility by incorporating an any-point manual override into the automation package. The any-point manual override allows the user to take control from the computer at any point in the testing process by simply pressing a button.
• The Backward Compatibility means that any Lexseco core Loss Tester can be automated. Older testers can be automated during the comprehensive upgrade process. The later vintage testers (Only units with the flux Metering System) do not even require a cabinet change.
• MP6.0™ Multiparameter Software is included in the Automation Upgrade Package. The software not only operates as the control-center of the package but also offers a great deal of additional features. (See the MP6.0™ Features and Benefits Sheet).
