EQUIPMENT
The
LEXSECO Core Loss Tester provides highly accurate,
waveform-independent reading by utilizing a high resolution flux,
current, and power measuring devices for the core being tested.
|
The
Core Loss Tester includes a Variable Reactance Transformer (VRT)
with solid state controls, a digital metering package, computer
system, and test cables with quick connecting fittings. Safety
fuses, over-temperature protection, interlocks, surge suppressors,
and circuit breakers are present to provide maximum protection to
the hardware and the operator.
With a
single turn of a control knob, the Core Loss Tester provides
an adjustable output current to excite the test core from 0
to 2000 amperes. The VRT used by LEXSECO provides ease of
control and self-limiting current, both of which offer
tremendous advantages over other sources of power used in
the industry.

This highly refined combination of software and hardware will insure

SMALL STATOR TEST PACKAGE
The
Small Stator Test Package allows testing of stators with less
than a one inch bore (ID). The Small Stator Test Package is
designed to attached your existing main test cable (or extension
cable) connectors. The following pictures show how easy it is to
test the really small stators.
 
REMANUFACTURED
EQUIPMENT
LEXSECO has dramatically advanced Core Loss Testing technology over
the past 20 years. But, the original equipment we manufactured in
1980 is still operating and is in use. Our Upgrade Program allows
any version of LEXSECO Core Loss Testers to be updated to utilize
the latest technology.
We also introduced a
Trade-Up Program to allow our
clients with larger testing requirements to trade their older tester
in towards the purchase of new larger tester. Core Loss Testers that
are received via our Trade-Up Program are evaluated by our
engineers. After these testers pass our rigorous evaluation process,
they are moved into our re-manufacturing process and are basically
rebuilt from the ground up. The re-manufacturing process includes
many more tests and quality checks. We insure the final product
looks (they are factory painted as part of the process) and
functions like a new Core Loss Tester.
*Re-manufactured testers are offered for sale with a one-year
warranty.
